For the first "It Takes a Village" event, I thought I'd give you an easy one.

Just need some bodies to help move 4.5 yards of dirt (for the new vegetable bed) and 1 yard of decomposed granite (for my side yard by the shed). The vegetable bed is built and ready to be filled see below:






And the side yard will be prepped and ready. In return I will be providing some BBQ (Pork Candy & Hot Chicken Wings), salad and some of our homemade brew. All you will need to bring is yourself, and if you have it- a shovel and gloves (don't worry if you don't have those items, I do have a few extras). Also I need at least one more wheel barrow to help things go faster.



We are having the dirt deliveried Friday afternoon so we can start either around 9 or 10am and then have lunch. Also, if you would like there is a 1:40 maintee showing of Kick-Ass at the Folsom Theatre, tickets are $7.50 and the theatre is 20 minutes from our house! If you wish you can bring a change of clothes & use our shower to freshen up.



The weather is slated to be sunny with a high of 77 degrees so it should be nice!
